TIFF unveils its first market: a financing showcase to rival Cannes, Berlin and the AFM

TIFF will launch its first financing and project market, TIFF: The Market, September 10–16, 2026, alongside the festival in downtown Toronto. The inaugural slate of 51 in-development projects — 40 features, six series, five immersive works — all seek production and financing partners. Over 150 sales companies, including Goodfellas, have signed on as exhibitors. Toronto now enters territory long held by Cannes, Berlin and the American Film Market.
