Sunderland willing to sell boyhood keeper Patterson after fall from first choice

Sunderland are willing to sell Anthony Patterson, the academy graduate who made 169 appearances and started all 45 Championship games in their 2024-25 promotion campaign. He featured just once in the first half of 2025-26 after losing his place to Robin Roefs, then spent the rest of the season on loan at Millwall. Patterson, 26, remains under contract. Rangers, Millwall, Wolves and Wrexham are interested.
