Palace and Everton agree straight Johnson–McNeil swap, no cash involved

Crystal Palace and Everton have agreed a straight swap: Brennan Johnson joins Everton, Dwight McNeil joins Palace. No cash changes hands. Both have agreed four-year deals with a 12-month option and face medicals on Monday. Johnson leaves after 18 goalless league games since his £35m January arrival. McNeil was in his final Everton contract year.
