Y Combinator Startup RamAIn Makes AI Agents 10x Faster at Automating Computer Tasks
RamAIn, a new startup backed by Y Combinator, has created AI agents that can automate tasks on computer screens much faster than existing tools—about 10 times quicker, according to the company. These agents work by learning how software interfaces are organized, then mimicking what a human would do with a keyboard and mouse. This is especially useful for older business software that wasn't built with modern integration capabilities (APIs). The startup, founded by engineers from IIT Delhi named Vansh Ramani and Shourya Vir Jain, also includes a feature where humans can step in when the AI faces unclear situations. RamAIn is targeting a major pain point for businesses: connecting new, modern systems to legacy software that's been in use for decades.
