A New Way Websites Can Track What You Do Across Your Browser

Researchers have discovered a security flaw called FROST that lets websites spy on your activity across browser tabs and even detect which apps you're running on your computer. The attack works by measuring how fast your hard drive processes data — something a website can observe through your browser — and uses artificial intelligence to figure out what you're doing elsewhere on your device.
