Cox Media Group's radio stations in Atlanta, Boston, Miami, and other major cities launched a domestic violence awareness campaign in May 2026 that interrupts music during morning and evening commutes. Rather than running short announcements during less popular time slots, the campaign deliberately pauses songs to grab listeners' attention and amplify the message when the most people are tuned in.
