Developer Stops Sharing 3D Printer Tool After Company Threatens Legal Action

A developer has stopped distributing a modified version of software that let people restore features Bambu Lab had intentionally disabled on its 3D printers. The company threatened legal action. While people can technically still modify their own hardware, the high cost of fighting lawsuits is pushing many developers to abandon such projects.
