Cerebras Systems, which makes specialized computer chips for artificial intelligence, has secured $850 million in credit ahead of plans to sell shares publicly. The money will help the company manage production costs and inventory—typical expenses for hardware makers scaling up manufacturing. Cerebras filed quietly with regulators for a public offering in July 2024.
