Subnautica 2 Arrives in Early Access with Record Interest and Multiplayer Support

Unknown Worlds released Subnautica 2 in Early Access on May 14 across major gaming platforms. The underwater survival game arrived with 5 million pre-orders and now lets up to four players explore together—a first for the franchise. The original was single-player only. Players can still go solo if they prefer. The studio plans to add content and refine the game before the official release.
