Elon Musk Sues OpenAI, Adding Fraud and Monopoly Charges

Elon Musk has expanded his lawsuit against OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman. Beyond claiming breach of contract, Musk now alleges fraud and that OpenAI illegally dominated the AI market. OpenAI says Musk agreed in 2017 the company could become for-profit, and disputes his demand for control. The case has escalated since February 2024.
