Iraq's leader visits Iran with a promise and a request

Iraqi leader Ali al-Zaidi visited Tehran on July 23 and promised Iraq would not let anyone attack Iran from Iraqi soil. But analyst Ghaleb Al-Daami told Al Jazeera he also asked Iran to stop funding armed groups in Iraq and carried a U.S. message backing Iraq as a go-between for the two rival nations.
