Dubai Loses Half Its Airlines After Iran Attacks Airport and Hotel

Iran fired missiles and drones at Dubai's airport and the Fairmont hotel in February 2026, during the US-Israel war on Iran. Since then, half the airlines flying through Dubai have stopped. Dubai had a record 20 million tourists in 2025. Tourism income has since fallen more than 50%.
