
Airlines at Dubai Airports Halved After Iranian Strikes on Airport and Hotel
Iran fired missiles and drones that struck Dubai's international airport and the Fairmont hotel in February 2026, part of its retaliation during the US-Israel war on Iran. Since the conflict began, the number of airlines operating at Dubai airports has halved. Dubai welcomed a record 20 million tourists in 2025. Tourism revenues have since fallen more than 50%.
