Samsung's new folding phone is cheaper and lighter than Motorola's rival

Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 8 folding phone launched July 22, 2026, at $1,200 — $300 less than Motorola's Razr Ultra. It's lighter and slimmer when folded, and its front screen can run full apps without opening the phone, something Motorola's model can't yet do.
