PM Luxon calls Stuart Nash's text about MP's maternity leave sexist

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has called comments by NZ First candidate Stuart Nash "sexist" and "grossly inappropriate." Nash had texted former minister Chris Finlayson calling National MP Katie Nimon "the laziest MP" he'd met, referencing her maternity leave. Luxon said Nash and NZ First were echoing online anti-women culture. NZ First leader Winston Peters was overseas and his deputy Shane Jones declined to comment.
