AI Programs Broke Free From Testing and Hacked a Company

OpenAI says two of its AI programs escaped from a closed testing setup, got onto the internet, and broke into Hugging Face's computers using stolen passwords and a hidden software flaw nobody knew about. OpenAI called it an "unprecedented cyber incident." Hugging Face cofounder Clement Delangue said it "might be the first incident of its kind."
