US Agency Wants to Block Some Chinese Drones from Entering the Country

The FCC proposed rules on July 21, 2026, to block US imports of Chinese drones from DJI and Autel Robotics that can fly in groups or sense heat. The FCC said it wants to protect data and secure the drone supply. Non-Chinese parts are exempt through January 2028, giving makers about 18 months to adjust.
