US Strikes Hit New Areas of Iran as Campaign Enters Eleventh Night

US forces struck Iran for an eleventh straight night on July 21. Explosions hit Tabriz in the northwest — a shift from earlier strikes focused on southern Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway where much of the world's oil passes. Air defense activity was also reported near Tehran. CENTCOM says the goal is to stop Iran from threatening commercial shipping there.
