Tesla's self-driving taxis reach Orlando and Tampa ahead of earnings report

Tesla launched self-driving taxis with no human supervisor in Orlando and Tampa, following an earlier start in Miami. The service areas are small. The expansion lands one day before Tesla's Q2 2026 earnings call, after Musk's unmet promise that self-driving taxis would reach half the U.S. by end of 2025 and his more cautious tone in Q1.
