Amazon Plans RoboCop TV Show for Prime Video

Amazon has ordered eight episodes of a RoboCop TV series for its Prime Video streaming service. Peter Ocko (Lodge 49, The Leftovers) will lead the show as showrunner — the person who oversees day-to-day creative decisions. James Wan is producing, and Ed Neumeier, co-writer of the original 1987 film, joins as executive producer. No premiere date, cast, or production timeline has been announced.
