NBC Turns Wordle Into a Game Show

NBC is creating a Wordle game show hosted by Savannah Guthrie, with Jimmy Fallon as executive producer. The New York Times, which bought the popular word puzzle game in 2022, announced the project in May 2026. Unlike playing alone on your phone, this television version will emphasize teams working together to solve the daily word.
