FCC Seeks to Block Nine Companies Suspected of Secretly Selling DJI Drones in the US

The FCC wants to stop nine companies — including XAG and the Skyrover drone brand — from selling drones and cameras in the US, citing national security. The agency believes they are secretly acting on behalf of DJI, a banned Chinese drone maker, to get around existing restrictions. Eight of the nine did not respond to FCC questions. The public has 30 days to comment before a final decision. Devices already bought are unaffected.
