
22-Year-Old Launches Defense Company After Government Work
Ethan Shaotran, a Harvard dropout who recently worked in federal government, has started Blitz Industries near Los Angeles. The company, registered in February 2026, focuses on artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. Shaotran says it has backing from major investors. The startup has filed to work with the Pentagon on contracts. Defense technology companies attracted nearly $50 billion in investment last year.
