Tesla Plans to End Its Cybertruck Pickup in 2027

Elon Musk said on November 6, 2026 that Tesla will stop making its Cybertruck, an electric pickup, in 2027. Winding down production at Gigafactory Texas, a huge factory, begins in mid-2027. Musk said Tesla will use the freed space for more two-seat Cybercab robotaxis, driverless taxis. The Cybertruck was announced in 2019; deliveries began in late 2023.
