Musk Says Tesla Will End Cybertruck Production in 2027

Elon Musk announced on November 6, 2026 that Tesla will stop making the Cybertruck in 2027. The wind-down at Gigafactory Texas begins in mid-2027. Musk said Tesla will use the freed factory space to build more two-seater Cybercab robotaxis, autonomous taxis with no driver. The Cybertruck was first announced in 2019; deliveries began in late 2023.
