Musk Announces Tesla Will Stop Making the Cybertruck in 2027

Elon Musk announced on November 6, 2026 that Tesla will stop making the Cybertruck in 2027. The wind-down at Gigafactory Texas begins in mid-2027. Musk said Tesla will use the freed factory space to build more two-seater Cybercab robotaxis. The Cybertruck was first announced in 2019 and deliveries began in late 2023.
