Sharjah Publishers Conference Records 7,980 Rights Meetings Among 1,888 Publishers

The 16th Sharjah Publishers Conference, held 1-3 November in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, drew 1,888 publishers from 126 countries. They held some 7,980 rights meetings, sessions where one publisher offers permission to publish a book in another language or market, according to Publishing Perspectives.
