Driverless Trucks Are Now Hauling Real Cargo Between Dallas and Houston

Aurora has started fully driverless freight runs between Dallas and Houston for McLane, a major food distributor owned by Berkshire Hathaway. The deployment marks a shift from testing to real commercial operations—no safety drivers aboard. McLane plans to expand across Texas and into Oklahoma City by the end of 2026.
