Hospitals in Yemen's Taiz City Running Out of Supplies Under Blockade

Yemen's government, the one recognized by countries, warned Oct. 11 that Taiz faces a coming health and humanitarian disaster under Houthi blockade, which surrounds the city and blocks supplies. Its health officials said medicines, vein fluids and fuel are almost gone, threatening emergency, surgery, intensive, kidney-filtering and newborn care. It asked for open roads and UN aid.
