
Yemen government warns Taiz hospitals near collapse under Houthi siege
Yemen's internationally recognised government warned on Oct. 11 of an "imminent health and humanitarian catastrophe" in Taiz amid the Houthi siege. Its health ministry said medicines, intravenous fluids and fuel are near depletion, threatening emergency, surgical, intensive, dialysis and neonatal care. It urged open supply routes and UN aid deliveries.
