Carlton says Cowan and Hayward hospitalised Sunday, since discharged

Carlton says Lachie Cowan and Will Hayward were admitted to hospital in Melbourne on Sunday in separate circumstances. Cowan received treatment and was observed before discharge, the club says. Hayward cut his head in a fall, took himself to hospital for stitches and was discharged. Carlton says it is in regular contact with both.
