ACT proposes $1.1b foreign aid cut from 2028

ACT has proposed cutting New Zealand's foreign aid by more than $1.1 billion over four years from 2028. Leader David Seymour said it would save about $283 million a year and return spending to 2017 levels, not counting Ukraine. Aid to the Pacific and support for Ukraine would be protected, RNZ reported.
