Immigration Officer Shoots Bronx Driver With 5-Year-Old in Car

An ICE officer, from the agency enforcing U.S. immigration laws, shot Oscar Belgal in the neck Oct. 8 in Marble Hill, Bronx, with his 5-year-old son in the car. At least seven shots were fired as children left school. Belgal was conscious in hospital. ICE says he hit two cars and drove at officers. Mayor Zohran Mamdani called it 'unconscionable.'
