
SpaceX wants to sell phone service using satellites
SpaceX plans to make Starlink Mobile a major U.S. phone company rivaling AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. It would link phones to satellites overhead plus regular towers on the ground, if federal regulators approve its purchase of radio airwaves that carry signals over long distances.
