SpaceX plans Starlink Mobile to challenge major U.S. carriers

SpaceX plans to turn Starlink Mobile into a full U.S. carrier to compete with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. It would pair its satellites that connect directly to phones with ground-based cell towers, pending FCC approval for SpaceX to buy low-band radio frequencies prized for wide coverage.
