Montenegro Holds Russian Blogger Over Alleged Plot to Undermine Stability

Montenegro detained Mikhail Zvinchuk, founder of Russian outlet Rybar, in Risan on Oct. 9, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić confirmed. Police suspect him of working to destabilize — or weaken — the country in an operation focused on Russian influence efforts. Officers seized phones and passports, then moved him to Podgorica for questioning. Moscow says it will seek his release.
