Gas Price Hits Three-Year High

€80 per unit of energy for Dutch TTF, Europe's sticker price for gas, is the highest since early 2023, up from €30, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal reported. TradingEconomics put Oct. 8 at €79.60, up 1.95% from yesterday. I expect higher heating bills and price rises if shipped gas from the Gulf stays scarce.
