European Gas Hits €80 High

€80 per megawatt-hour for Dutch TTF gas, Europe's reference price, is the highest since early 2023, up from €30, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal reported. TradingEconomics put Oct. 8 at €79.60, up 1.95% on the day. In my view, heating bills and inflation face pressure if Gulf shipped gas stays tight.
