New Thames & Hudson book gathers 420 Monet letters from age 18 to 86

'Claude Monet: A Life in Letters,' published by Thames & Hudson, marks the centenary of Monet's death, the UK's National Gallery in London says. The Art Newspaper reported on 8 Oct 2026 it holds around 420 letters to 93 recipients, from age 18 to 86, with most to principal dealer Paul Durand-Ruel and second wife Alice Hoschedé.
