USS Abraham Lincoln Ends Yearlong Deployment After Iran War Duty

The USS Abraham Lincoln is due in San Diego on Oct. 8, 2026, ending a nearly year-long deployment with about 5,000 aboard. The carrier left for the Pacific in November 2025, then shifted to the Middle East after the U.S. and Israel began war with Iran in February 2026, staying until another ship replaced it in late August.
