Nevada House candidate cited for bravery award he did not receive

Republican David Flippo, running for Nevada's 2nd District House seat, was described in fundraising appeals and a video as earning a Bronze Star for bravery, though he did not earn the V pin for bravery. Flippo said a young staffer mixed up the word valor and said his grandkids put V pins on his hat in a campaign photo.
