Menlo puts money into AI helper Factory, worth $5 billion

Menlo Ventures has put money into Factory, a young company whose artificial intelligence works like an assistant that writes computer programs. The deal puts Factory's total worth at $5 billion. Partner Matt Murphy led the investment, announced October 5, 2026 in a blog post. Menlo did not say how much it put in.
