Fatal shooting near Hebron after alleged car-ramming attempt

Israeli soldiers shot at a car near Bani Naim, east of Hebron, on Oct. 5, killing 38-year-old Hossam Alaa al-Din Abdul Jabbar Walad Ali and seriously wounding two others, Palestinian officials said. Israel's army says the driver tried to run over soldiers — an alleged car-ramming attack. Palestinian officials say Israel is holding the body.
