Menlo Ventures invests in AI code-writing startup Factory at $5 billion valuation

Menlo Ventures has invested in Factory, an AI startup that writes software code, at a $5 billion valuation. Partner Matt Murphy led the deal, announced October 5, 2026 in a blog post. Menlo did not disclose how much it invested.
