Free ChatGPT in US Will Try Picture Ads

OpenAI said Oct. 5 it will test picture ads in ChatGPT in the US later this month. The ads will appear beside pictures ChatGPT makes for users, from a small group of advertisers. It builds on ads introduced in February to help pay for free use.
