OpenAI to Test Visual Image Ads in ChatGPT in US

OpenAI will begin testing visual image ads in ChatGPT in the US later this month. The company announced the format Oct. 5. Initial units will appear alongside image generation with an initial group of advertisers, following OpenAI's introduction of ads in February to support free access.
