ChatGPT to Trial Image Ads in US

OpenAI will test visual ads in ChatGPT in the US later this month, the company said Oct. 5. The first ads will run next to images the chatbot creates, with a small set of advertisers. The test follows OpenAI's February rollout of ads, intended to keep free access available.
