India Delays Payment App Size Limits to Avoid Breaking Services

India's government has delayed rules that would limit how big payment apps can become. Two apps, PhonePe and Google Pay, handle 85% of India's digital payments. Officials worried that forcing them smaller could disrupt a system processing over 10 billion payments monthly, so they've postponed the restrictions by up to two years.
