Amazon's Carrie Show Turns School Bullying Into Online Harassment

Mike Flanagan's Carrie for Prime Video sets Stephen King's bullying story in today's online world. Classmates film Carrie White's humiliation in gym class and share it through a nameless Instagram page called 'carriered'. Margaret is a strict religious figure turned campaigner on parents' rights. I read this as making social media the place where the story lives, not background detail.
