Five men arrested near a U.S.-used airbase in England

Five men from London were arrested Sept. 27 in Whelford, near RAF Fairford, because police suspect terrorism crimes. Police who handle terrorism cases say armed officers stopped three vans about 12:45 a.m. after reports the vans were driving toward the base, a British airfield the United States uses. The inquiry was still going on Sept. 28.
